This page will feature images of situations where colorblindguys face a challenge.
I know art is a subjective subject. But I know the artist wants the viewer to at least SEE, their work. Here’s an example of a sculpture along a nature path. The “web” does not “pop” to a colorblindguy. In fact, I had to search awhile to locate the object among the trees.
Since colorblindguys don’t see red that well, when something is pink like this dolphin, we think it’s off white.
And while we’re on the topic of not seeing red well. The word “MAX” is almost invisible!
Same with “wildcherry”. A white outline for these words would do the trick.
Not being able to see green well, colorblindguy is on alert when it comes to moldy bread. I sent the image below to my daughter before I used it for a sandwich–I received the thumbs up and ate it. I imagine I’ve eaten more than my share of moldy bread.
I tend to seek help at the grocery store when it comes to buying ripe fruit-like bananas.
