Fashion
We (and I know we aren’t all the same) tend not to obsess about matching our clothes–we just want to wear something we understand. So that means the classic colors of white & black with appearances of gray, blue and other safe colors .
Food
Food also poses some problems. Is that a blueberry muffin or a chocolate muffin? We tend not to marvel at the presentation of a meal at a restaurant that combines a rainbow of colors.
